The Revel Surgery Dispensary

We are pleased to announce The Revel Surgery Dispensary will move to its new location in the building and will be open from 1st July 2024.
For many years, The Revel Surgery has been able to dispense medication to our eligible patients. Some of you may already be aware, The Revel Surgery Dispensary has operated alongside Revel Healthcare Pharmacy in the same space in the building for many years, providing this service.
Unfortunately the current model was not working and we have taken this step to ensure the survival of General Practice in a rural location. We understand the change may feel unsettling. The decision to bring the ’dispensing service’ back into the surgery location was not taken lightly, but to make both businesses sustainable and ensure both dispensary and pharmacy provide ongoing care.
The income we generate from dispensing medication to our eligible patients is used to provide additional services, improving the range of help and support we are able to offer. Profit is not made from dispensing fees; the funds are used for the running of the dispensary service.
We will endeavour to ensure there is no impact on the service you receive and strive to deliver the highest standard of patient service and care, giving regular updates and communication.
